Built by a Sports Scientist, Not a Franchise

Iron 24 was founded by Sam Pitcairn — M.S. in Sports Science from the University of Pittsburgh, former sports scientist for Pitt basketball, and a competitive powerlifter, Olympic lifter, and bodybuilder. The programming here isn't downloaded from the internet: it's the same assessment-driven method used with competitive athletes, scaled to whatever shape you're in today.

And because there are no contracts, the accountability runs both ways: if the coaching isn't working, you can walk. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.

I'm out of shape — will I be the least fit person there?
No. Semi-private means small groups at different levels, each on their own program. Your coach scales every exercise to your current ability. Most members start exactly where you are.
How much does it cost?
Depends on your program and session frequency — we walk through exact numbers at your free intro, no games. Semi-private costs meaningfully less than one-on-one training while keeping individual programming. No contracts, no hidden fees.
What is semi-private training exactly?
A small group trains together, but everyone follows their own individual program — it's not a class. You get real coaching attention without solo-training prices.
